Older Girls Service Project: Learning
for Life 10k Run
Here's an easy service project for your troop!
We need help manning twelve (12) water stations and to cheer on the runners.
This is a "no-cost" activity that counts for service hours. Older
Junior troops, cadettes, and seniors would be perfect for this event.
Register by October 8. Spend the night on the 9th at Cabrillo Beach
Youth Waterfront Sports Center for free. Please wear jeans and your
Girl Scout shirts to wear on Saturday. You will earn patches as a
thank you. Breakfast is provided on Saturday morning. |

is My Life--Sports for Life"--9 am to 3 pm
This one is all about being fit for life.
Look into different activities to develop a fitness plan for yourself that
fits your lifestyle and interests: Martial arts, hiking, swimming,
running, and more will be presented. Does the future hold a care in
fitness for you? Need help in figuring out all the "stuff" that you
really need and what are just "niceties" This is your life--decide how
to live it! |

For Daisies and Brownies: "Starting
My New Year Healthy"--9 am to 3 pm
During the busy holiday season and before the
start of the new year, let's learn about taking time to be healthy:
good nutrition, exercise, and habits. Cabrillo Beach Youth Waterfront
Sports Center is the place to do it! Daisies will be earning their Red
Petal, and Girl Sports Fitness. Brownies will earn the "Healthy
Habits" and "Girl Sports" try-its. |
$15.00 per person |
- Food and drink is not provided unless otherwise stated.
- You must send or bring in the registration form with payment prior to
beginning the first class. Your place in the class you want is NOT
guaranteed or confirmed until we receive payment.
 PLEASE NOTE:
Space may not be available even if we
receive your payment you have not
pre-registered in the class you wish.
- A swim test must be completed for all classes requiring the use of
watercraft or the pool.
- No refunds, credits or transfers will be given once the session has
started.
