Girl Scout Programs

The Cabrillo Beach Youth Waterfront Sports Center can teach a variety of Junior and Senior/Cadette Badge classes. Call us at (310) 831-1984 to set up a class from the list of possibilities below. Be sure to note the prices and the approximate number of hours needed for the class. (It will vary with different groups and group sizes.) Typically, our classes are done on Sunday afternoons from 1:00-3:00 p.m. You must have a minimum of seven Girl Scouts per class and pay when you reserve your class. In addition, we can schedule two hour sessions for practice in the boats (canoes, ocean kayaks, rowboats)*, swimming pool*, or handicrafts.

* For all aquatic classes, scouts will be taking a swim test to classify their swimming abilities. To complete the Paddle, Pole, and Roll class or to use canoes, ocean kayaks, and deep end of the pool, you must pass the swim test.
